Look below to see how much better his eczema has gotten!!!!
Ahhhh...it's good to be home.
Morgan is settling in and enjoying lots of the wonderful gifts that we have received from friends and family. In the first photo, you can see him happily splashing away with the bath toys that my friend Jill got for him. Below, he is playing in his exersaucer that we purchased with the gift card from Aubla, Jocie, and Evelyn this weekend. Thank you so much ladies!!
My living room has that "bomb gone off" look to it that most parents have. It used to be rather stylish...now you trip over toys and plastic cups and spoons wherever you walk. There is also a nice patina of drool on the leather furniture....it makes Jeremy cringe :)
Our little guy has done better each day in playing farther and farther away from the safety of my arms. He usually likes to keep within a 2 foot radius, but has ventured away a few times when something catches his interest.
I spoke to my little sister last night--it was the sweetest call. She has a baby girl that is almost two and was able to give me lots of suggestions and insight on having a ten month old under foot. She has also generously added some baby toys to the list of goodies that my dad and step mom are bringing with them when they visit. Thanks, Kate! Love ya!
Babies really seem to bring family together. I've always been the designated black sheep of the clan...content to talk on the phone briefly here and there...with a few visits sprinkled in throughout the year. Now, I talk to my "Moms" (My two and Jeremy's) all of the time. It's hard getting through this without lots of advice and problem solving from those that have been there and done that.
Morgan has had a few visitors over the past few days--he still doesn't take very well to people he doesn't know...preferring instead to do his little baby spider monkey impression and cling to me while peeking at them when he thinks they are not looking :)
We have been invited to a bbq this weekend. I hope that Morgan will be in a good mood. It would be great to hang out with our friends after so many weeks away.

He looks fantastic and happy. What a sweet little guy! Thanks for your supportive messages on my blog.
I can't wait to give that little guy a high five.
It looks like everyone is settling into the new family routine in El Paso.
Congrats!
Morgan looks so happy!
He is adorable! And his face looks so much better! Glad that motherhood is agreeing with you!
I thought those bath toys looked familiar! ;) I'm so glad you are home and adjusting to mommy life. Give Morgan a big hug and kiss from me!
