Surgery Update

The photos are very grainy--from my cell phone--but here's Jeremy giving Morgan a bottle after the surgery.

And here is our little guy before the procedure. He looks like a dust mop! The only gowns the hospital had were for 3 year olds and needless to say his clothes were falling off.
Our little champ is just fine. He recovered quickly from the anesthesia and did not experience any nausea or negative effects. His "Uncle Mitch" did the anesthesia and even brought Morgan a cute stuffed tiger the morning of surgery.
Morgan's tongue did not require any sutures and he ate and drank normally. The circumcision seems to be healing nicely and has not slowed him down a bit. He is still getting into everything--tearing up the office as I type. The surgical dressing should be coming off today, but he cannot have a bath for 2 weeks! YIPES. The urologist said that he could take showers. HA! An 11 month old taking a shower?? Guess his pops will be in charge of that one :)
I will keep you all updated on how the stroller works. We leave for our first trip on the 23rd of this month.

Very glad to hear that Morgan's procedures went well. We've been thinking of him (and you guys) all weekend.

So glad to hear Morgan came through like a champ! It's hard to see the little ones coming out of surgery, isn't it?! But SO resilient!

I'm SO glad everything went perfectly. He's such a cutie. About the showers, Mattix started showering with us when he was Morgan's age and he LOVES showers. Now, he literally stands outside the shower door and POUNDS on the glass, yelling at me, if I don't bring him into the shower with me. He loves the shower that much! :) You might want to give it a try. Just put a few bath toys on the floor of the shower. (Just an idea.)
