I saw this article on High Fructose Corn syrup in a link from another blog and found it interesting.
I typically don't sweat anything that "may" be bad for you as long as you indulge in very small amounts--but I do think that High Fructose Corn syrup has sneakily taken up residence in so many of the foods that we eat every day that it bears some thought when you make a trip to the grocery store.
Mercury poisoning is a cumulative process and the thought that it might be in corn syrup makes me want to avoid that stuff even more than I did before!

Wow, that is not good. Thanks for the info!!!
Wow, I had no idea either!
I've felt so overwhelmed by HFCS that I feel like I don't even know where to START cutting it out. I guess you just start one thing at a time and replace as you buy new stuff, huh? I think that article might be the thing that pushes me over the edge because if there is one thing that scares the crap out of me more than HFCS it's mercury poisoning!
Amen. And to think...I was only concerned about limiting her fish intake! I promptly cleaned out the pantry after this article...and happily, I didn't have much to throw away. Nice surprise for a change!!!
